WHAT IS A COMMUNITY CONCERT?
A community concert is an opportunity to serve community members through free concerts. Musicians must be flexible and open to performing in atypical concert settings that differ from the formal concert hall. Students will join Tetra’s mission to expand access to arts by performing for a wide variety of different communities, where it may be less common to witness classical music performances and at a variety of different locations.
Please note: Each small ensemble will be assigned to a specific community performance or event each semester. Not all ensembles will perform at the same community event. Depending on our community partners, these performances are sometimes subject to change. If unique performance opportunities arise mid-semester, we will check in with you and your availability. Please make sure tcmi@tetrainstitute.org is in your contact list and let us know if you need to make any updates to your contact information.
