The TCMI Summer Workshop Registration Deadline has passed. We are still accepting applications for spots for our July Workshop and please complete the application process ASAP if you want to be considered. 

If you are interested in attending our June Workshop and have NOT yet applied, please reach email us at tcmi@tetrainstitute.org to inquire about availability. Please include:

1. Student Name

2. Student Instrument

3. Student age/grade

4. 1-2 minute video of their playing

June 23-28 in Tempe

Location: Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1800 E Libra Dr, Tempe

July 7-12 in Scottsdale

Location: Saint Maria Goretti, 6261 N Granite Reef Rd, Scottsdale

Program requirements:
Students in grades 6-12 are eligible. We accept younger students upon recommendation from private teachers. Students may apply individually or as a pre-formed ensemble.

Acceptance and placement:
Participation in TCMI is determined by audition, with students placed in ensembles based on experience and age.

Application fee:

$20.00 application fee per family
Application fee charged through Jackrabbit (see steps below)

CURRENT TCMI FAMILIES/STUDENTS WHO HAVE PREVIOUSLY PARTICIPATED:

STEP 1: Log in to the PARENT PORTAL

Once you are logged into the parent portal, add June Registration, July Registration, or both if you are applying to both weeks.

STEP 2: Complete Supplemental Google Form. Your video audition link MUST be submitted on this form for your application to be complete.

Audition information:

In order for your application to be considered complete, each of the following recordings must be included in your Google Form application (STEP 2).

• Individual Applicant:

  1. A solo of one’s choice that best represents the applicant’s playing ability (approx. 1-2 minutes).

  2. Students who have never participated in TCMI must also prepare the following excerpt with the metronome ON. Please make sure metronome is audible in the recording. Click Here for the Metronome Excerpt

  Pre-formed Ensemble Applicants:

  1. One movement from the standard quartet repertoire.
